Getting To Know : Icona Pop

Icona Pop are a synth duo hailing from Stockholm, Sweden. Since the days of ABBA, right up to modern day deities such as Peter Bjorn and John and Jens Lekman, Sweden has always been a somewhat epicentre for pop music, so it's unsurprising to hear this young pair are upcoming masters of the genre.
Made up of Caroline Hjelt & Aino Jawo, Icona Pop create effortlessly cool, fresh and fun sonics full of spitting drums, gyrating dance synths and dreamy girl vox, all of which succeed in charming the pop loving out of all of us.
