It’s been reported that since the debut of Vampire Weekend’s album “Father Of The Bride,” soccer moms everywhere have been spending extra time in their vans hot boxing while spacing out to the new sounds of America’s favorite ex-prep boy rockers.
Even former president Bill Clinton, seen above in the main image, has been digging the quirkier vibes that the band presents. To quote “Willy” himself we are getting down to the “dad vibes” as we flamenco our way into the week with the single “Sympathy.”
VAMPIRE WEEKEND - SYMPATHY
Sympathy” mixes a flamenco style guitar with skats and crashing drums. Elements that you wouldn’t think pair well are used to compose a sound that is as comforting as a dad joke. You can’t help but smile and enjoy.
Beca Arredondo is easily unamused with all things not related to her interests. On her good days you can catch her avoiding the California sun and glued to her Mac plotting the next big thing. If you happen to run into her on the street and notice her wearing headphones do NOT disturb her. She is not responsible for any possible damage.
