TEENAGER FOREVER - FAKE
All the plastic beeetches on social media are rolling their eyes and getting ready to heave up some hate on Teenager Forever’s single “FAKE.” The Denmark duo’s track comes as at us like a spoonful of much-needed truth, awakening listeners to a plastic world that is highlighted through plastic people on social media. Enjoy the bouncy pop and remember … don’t drink the kool-aid. Keep it real and locked down in Teenager Forever.
GABRIELLE APLIN - NOTHING REALLY MATTERS
“Nothing Really Matters” except for this bouncy slice of pop coming from singer-songwriter Gabrielle Aplin. Aplin’s single “Nothing Really Matter” is as liberating as the emotion behind the production. The songstress expressed the challenge she faced of wanting to open up and the fear behind the thought of opening up. Whatever it was that pushed her to reach another level is unknown to us but we sure are thankful!
JADEN SMITH - WATCH ME (REMIX)
Jaden Smith is cool and anything and everything that seems to look like K+Pop is hawt makes this video as juicy as a perfectly grilled porterhouse steak. Nevermind the fact that Jaden seems to be stuck on rewriting mode and not on writing new material … don’t ya know that an artist’s work is never done?!
SIGRID - DON’T FEEL LIKE CRYING
Sigrid says wipes them tears from your eyes child, get you some Chinese take out for one and plan on staying in to dance your feelings out to the empowering single “Don’t Feel Like Crying.” The uptempo sound will fill up the void in your heart in under 3 minutes.
SKY FERRIERA - DOWNHILL LULLABY
Sky is alive! After a looooooong absence, the alternative songstress is back sounding darker than ever. What better way to say “I’m back!!” than with a bold track. “Downhill Lullaby” will have you pushing on the gas pedal in hopes of crashing into a wall to feel the raw emotion of a song that seems to have more down’s than it does ups.
LALEH - KNOCK KNOCK
When you go knocking on someone’s door it’s usually to let someone know of your presence. Indie underrated artist Laleh knocks on doors to make it known that she did things her way and now look at her, she’s living it up and bound to climb charts if she continues to put catchy music like “Knock knock.”
FLUME & EPROM - SPRING
Do you realize the greatness of Flume? The Australian producer is beyond and above any other current sound maker. To be able to capture the essence of Spring is unheard of, but he with the help of Eprom they managed to pull together the sound of the season. As one YouTuber Rayan Alfadel mentioned, this is “ear sex.”
FITZ AND THE TANTRUMS - 123456
Where or who do you turn to for a good legal, natural, unadulterated free high? Fitz and The Tantrums, that’s who. You can count on them for “feel good about yourself life isn’t so crappy kind of tunes.”
ICE CUBE - AIN’T GOT NO HATERS FEAT. TOO SHORT
Ice Cube sure is right, the rapper ain't got no haters. Nope. Who could hate on a man that starred in the Oscar-worthy movie “Are We There Yet?” Listen to the sound if what the kids of the 90s grew up listening to and help spread the comeback sound of Ice Cube.
LOGIC - DELOREAN
Most of us will never have the funds to afford the purchase of a DeLorean. The closest I ever got to one was at Universal Studios and that was just a replica. But today, Logic has us feeling like we’re riding passenger seat as we cruise down a smooth scenic drive leading to Lovemaking Lane.

Beca Arredondo is easily unamused with all things not related to her interests. On her good days you can catch her avoiding the California sun and glued to her Mac plotting the next big thing. If you happen to run into her on the street and notice her wearing headphones do NOT disturb her. She is not responsible for any possible damage. Aside from the above she's very sweet and perky and responds well to good music and food.
