6 INSTAGRAM MOMENTS: EMINEM AND HIS MOM'S SPAGHETTI
Monday is here, the coffee is brewing, and the post-weekend Instagram feed is LIT.
This week’s edition includes Nas, Kygo, and Eminem — so all you cool kids, brace yourself and hold tight while I guide you through what you missed on social media in the last three days.
MOM'S SPAGHETTI
Let’s just avoid all the drama that Eminem’s been facing cause of his excessive love for gunshot noises, and focus on the good parts of his tour — the SPAGHETTI. You know the infamous “Lose It” verse by heart, and I hope you can appreciate that Eminem can enjoy the meme-ness of the song and bank on it by selling us spaghetti. He collab’d with Firefly Music Festival for this, and if you download his app, you can find locations of the pasta near you. God, 2018 is weird.
NAS + BABY GIRL
I hope everyone had a blast getting drunk with their fathers on Father’s Day this past weekend. Instagram meanwhile, was a trove of old baby photos, vintage shots of dads being dads, and this particularly sweet photo of Nas showing love to his daughter Destiny Jones. Awww.
KYGO - BORN TO BE YOURS
Last week, Kygo teased a collaboration with none other than juggernaut power-rockers Imagine Dragons. “Born to Be Yours” was released on Friday and the result is a bouncy EDM track very unlike what I would expect from these two artists joining forces. OH WELL. Here’s a video of Kygo dropping the new track for the first time in Vegas, and the crowd is clearly digging it.
IMAGINE DRAGONS
Speaking of Imagine Dragons, watch this video of the band releasing tour stress with some good ol’ fashioned arcade gaming. Not sure what they’re playing here, but it’s intense AF and to be honest, it sounds like they ain’t very good. That’s okay, though, cause if I ever have the chance to challenge them in Galaga (THATS MY GAME, SON), I am going to WIN.
LUIS FONSI
By day and most of the night, Luis Fonsi is a Puerto-Rican singer. But sometimes, he plays for the New York Yankees. Oh, didn’t you know? He plays Second Base, has a .278 batting average and is a shoe-in for the all-star game. Oh what, you really don’t believe me? Take a LOOK! I swear he’s giving Aaron Judge a run for his money. ;)
MIGUEL
All my b*tches got friends. Miguel teamed up with Goldlink and released “Got Friends” last week, a steamy summer single that’s going to leave me hot and bothered when I’m out at day parties. Watch Miguel hit us with the promo, but also watch him sexily maneuver a car through the freeway. Guhhh. Can he be mine?
Until next time, kiddos. Keep doing it for the ‘Gram.
