Still a relative rookie in the rap game, Desiigner already has caught the attention of famed rapper and producer Kanye West, who ended up sampling Panda for his album, The Life of Pablo. It only took a couple of months before Panda was finding heavy rotation on hip-hop stations around the country. Pundits and critics always like drawing upon similarities to describe newer artists. Comparisons to Future is more than just hyperbole. They sound uncannily similar.

How do you repeat that success? Employing the service of Gucci Mane definitely gives the track hip-hop credibility. When you strike gold with your first hit, the expectations are raised sky-high for your subsequent releases. First things first, Liife doesn’t have the same appeal as Panda, but that doesn’t mean that it is doomed for obscurity or failure. Definitely, not.
