Fill Bo Riva hails from Berlin, Dublin, and Rome. Which means he’s an army brat or just one of those fortunate people who gets to live in really awesome locals. Regardless, dude’s second single, “Like Eye Did,” is pure fire.

Featuring vocals that sound like they made their way here from a portal to a different time or dimension (possibly both), “Like Eye Did” is probably one of those songs you’ll either immediately love or hate. If you’re in the market for a distinctive, instantly recognizable voice, we’ve got a doozy of one for you. If that’s not what you’re looking for, it’s worth giving this cut a few listens to see if the gravel-laced vocals click for you. At the very least it’ll expand your horizons and possibly your musical pallet.

For those who need no such coercing, just go ahead and listen to the song and get ready to fall hard for his vocals. The repetitive, bluesy lament is one deeply familiar to anyone who’s ever dealt with a fractured relationship.
