BEST NEW VIDEO: NAO - BAD BLOOD (NSFW)

Nao is London-based songstress who likely has no affiliation to the National Audit Office (the UK’s version of the IRS, I think). Her mesmerizingly eerie song, “Bad Blood,” is not a Taylor Swift cover, but it now has an incredible video, like the T-Swift song. Nao’s video does not feature the likes of Kendrick Lamar and Lena Dunham, but it’s a more memorable production.

Despite the presence of a beautiful naked woman, this is not a sexy video. (Also bros, she’s totally butt naked the entire video. Don’t watch this at work. For real.) The Ian Pons Jewell-directed piece is shot in black and white and depicts the aforementioned naked lady going around some industrial ruins enacting some otherworldly revenge on those who’ve wronged her. Or maybe they haven’t wronged her, I don’t really know. I suppose one interpretation of the video is that this young black female is symbolically conquering her oppressors… with trees?

Best watch it for yourself and come to your own conclusions.
