YAGYA - FRYSTI STORM
I can’t believe that it took me three days to finally get to writing about Icelandic producer Yagya’s single “Frysti Stormur.” I don’t think any less of those of you not familiar with the name because he’s one music’s best-kept secrets. In fact, you would only probably know about his music if you were deeply engrained in the ambient techno scene. But no need to dive too deep into the layers of the techno world to discover him because here below is something you all need to listen to.
YAYGA - FRYSTI STORM
Within the first 45 seconds of the song, Yagya showcases a combination of bass loops and synth work that comes off sounding somewhat manic which is appropriate for the name of the track which translates to “First Storm,” and if anyone has been caught up in a storm whether it be an emotional one or literal one, then you know what I mean.
Two more projects are in the works right now, until then, listeners can tune in to his previous releases here.
Beca Arredondo is easily unamused with all things not related to her interests. On her good days you can catch her avoiding the California sun and glued to her Mac plotting the next big thing. If you happen to run into her on the street and notice her wearing headphones do NOT disturb her. She is not responsible for any possible damage. Aside from the above she's very sweet and perky and responds well to good music and food.
