WORST NEW TRACK: TONY BENNETT & LADY GAGA "I CAN'T GIVE YOU ANYTHING BUT LOVE (GIORGIO MORODER REMIX)"
When Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga combined forces to make their chart-topping album Cheek to Cheek, the ultimate effect was to show that Gaga was a legitimate artist. Someone who could make great music with out all the hoopla and freakish sideshow. She accomplished this and more, apparently to the chagrin of Italian producer Giorgio Moroder whose Worst New Track, Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga "I Can't Give You Anything But Love (Giorgio Moroder Remix)," takes a giant dump all over the respectability and good will Gaga has built up with this record.
Disco Diarrhea. That's the most apt description of what Moroder did to this track. Where we once had a lovely, contemporary jazz song, the remix is a cut desperate for recognition and to get you dancing. It doesn't do either well.
Listen to this this sh*t sandwich at your own peril. I'm gonna go find some gauze to try and stop the bleeding in my ears.

Compare that dreck with the smooth, classy original.
TONY BENNETT & LADY GAGA "I CAN'T GIVE YOU ANYTHING BUT LOVE" (STUDIO VERSION)
I have nothing against a remix trying to switch a song up an failing, but this one took a good song and made it borderline unlistenable. And that, I do take issue with.
