Looks like it’s going to be a great year for BitCandy’s Popkiller! Here are this week's picks for our kind of pop that doesn’t suck.
Zedd - Clarity feat. Foxes (Acoustic Version)
Eeergh??? Commercial for Beats by Dre headphones? Anyways..We were in wuvz with the original version of ‘Clarity,’ but I think me likes this version a bit more. Foxes’s butter melting vocals + Zedd’s perfect timing on the piano give the song an uplifting clarity. I think this could be a contender for ‘Best of Indie Love Songs.’
Rihanna "Stay" 777 Tour Live From London
I don’t know how Riri manages to smoking weed with the Snoop Lion, get after party IV Drips with BFF Katy Perry, and sound unapologetically good during a live performance of "Stay." It’s a bit pitchy, but her performance is genuinely nice.
Wale "The Blessings"
God bless the man with ambition! Love me or hate me, I am a fan of Wales’ witty hater rhymes. Here’s the latest rambling track: "Now I'm not trying to say I'm the toughest ni--a in the world. I'm not trying to say I can beat everybody A$$," says Wale. "All I'm saying is if a ni--a got a problem with Wale, then say my f-cking name.”

Keane has been jacked...Afrojacked that is, and it sounds freaking sweet! Worth the listen and worthy of dancing.
