RÖYKSOPP - CHURCH (LOST TAPES)

The legendary electronic duo Röyksopp have returned with a series of unreleased music that was recently uncovered while revamping their chateau. And thank goodness they decided to renovate their chambers because we the peasants would have never had a chance to listen to some of the glossiest and pristine beats. “Church” forms part of a chest full of lost B-sides and exclusives that were burning to be heard.

Upon first listen, “Church” opens up with flickers of synths that then expand into a restrained syncopated beat that stretches for a bit over seven minutes. Like most Röyksopp music, this track hits you emotionally first and serves to revive and reset your mind and soul.
