Best of Electro - Week 26 2012
Hello to all you out there from around the globe. Uncle Flex and Glitch here at bitcandy.com, separating the wheat from the chaff to bring you the top dance songs from the reaches of the internet.
The summer solstice has just passed us by, but don’t cry about the shorter days. It just means longer nights and more dancing to great EDM. We have a varied selection this week, starting off with the latest from a few of the big names out there, including a new remix from Aoki and another tag team effort from Skrillex and Nero.
Army of the Universe - Kill The F* DJ (Steve Aoki Remix)
Skrillex & Nero - Game Over
I, Uncle Flex, am not a big fan of Skrillex. I generally find his music contrived, overdone, and only suited as a soundtrack for a Michael Bay film. However, I can admit that this new track with Nero is pretty sick. The sample is great, the beat isn’t overly ridiculous, and there isn’t a gaggle of transformers running around in the background. Good shit.
Adventure Club - Need Your Heart Ft Kai
Ahh...finally a track that might actually last longer than 2 weeks...yes, indeed...Adventure Club and Krewella are my picks for EDM artists to break out in 2013.
Delta3 The Dream
This artist has virtually no views on soundcloud -- do you think that should change? They’re labeled under trance, and while it does maintain a solid trance-like groove, it has much more of an edge then many tracks in the genre.
Oh Shit! & Galactik Knights - Marvelous (Solidisco Remix) PREVIEW
Over the past few months we’ve brought you new Solidisco whenever it crops up. This is just a clip but it shows more of the same from a group we love.
Hervé - How Can I Live Without You (Make It Right) (Sinden Remix)
Nathan C & Danny Dove - Like That (SAMPLE)
Danny Brown - Die Like a Rockstar (Brodinski Rmx)
Brodinski continues to do whatever he damn well pleases. Check out our review of him here.
Elektropusher "Gain Holder" NAPT remix (Cheaper Thrills) [Preview]
Deadmau5 - The Veldt
New anime video for thee excellent Deadmau5 track.
Tony Romera - Go Disco (Original Mix)
This might be my favorite for the week. If you like sample based disco grooves, be sure to listen. Even if you don’t at all, be sure to listen. Make sure to download it too.
And that’s it for this week. What did you think? Have any artists we should know about? Post it below or click here to find out how to become a curator.
