BEST NEW SONGS: LLLL “I FEEL YOU FADING FT. YEULE”

I don’t speak Japanese, or any language besides my native tongue. Considering this, it is quite the task to tell you about an obscure band from Tokyo known as LLLL. Best I can tell, this is the first write up about them in the English language, so congratulate yourself as you're reading this, because together we’re making history.

“I Feel You Fading ft. Yeule” is somewhere between a house, PC music, and pop song. It also f**king rules. It’s like Asobi Seksu got thrown into a blender with a Sega Genesis and MIDI player. Yeule (whoever the hell that is) adds her haunting, whispery vocals to the pulsing, melodic beat. Lest you think these proceedings are tranquil, there’s also random spasms of electronic bliss scattered throughout the song. Just to keep you on your toes.

You’ll have to listen to it to find out exactly what I’m talking about. So go on, what are you waiting for?
