halloween felt like a ten day festival this year, me I'm working every day traveling and playing at parties from Vegas to Miami.. but on the actual day of halloween I flew up towards the North Pole to play an armed forces entertainment show in Greenland. It was 16 hours of connecting flights to reach straight up towards no where .. there is a small Air Force Base that was bustling during the cold war and that now serves as a missile defense and space monitoring center. It's literally the nights watch from game of thrones mixed with Top Gun. It's one of the most bizarre places I've ever been or will visit in my life.. While everyone was raving back in the mainland. I was up north playing bingo and exploring the Arctic with some of the coolest men and women in the world. These people work hard as hell in one of the most desolate places in the world .. we had a small show that night but we raged like it was the last night on Earth.. during the two hours of sunlight. I got to walk around in my walrus costume (I researched that they were native to the island ) and also we sadly ran over an Archie (that's the name for polar foxes which are everywhere running around ) The Chaplin was actually driving and he was devastated.. I took a photo of it so that everyone could have a moment of silence for this little fox but decided not to post cause it's guts were kind of everywhere . I also did a quick outfit change in the snow which no one understood, just to get a pic of me wearing the @nickiminaj x @fendi collab because it feels like the North Pole is one of the only places I could pull it off.. we also discovered a flooded mid century missle silo that blew my mind and was covered in ten feet of solid ice that we could walk over. It felt like a cold war time capsule. This will probably be my lowest performing post of the month but I really wanted to show some love to all the amazing soldiers and civilians (Danish and Greenlandic) that work so hard in such tough conditions .. it was extremely humbling and special experience and I wouldn't have wanted to spend last Thursday any other way tbh
