Best EDM / Electro House - Week 33 2013
Welcome back to another installment of bitcandy.com’s Best of EDM & Electro House. You should know by now we don’t discriminate against good dance music. Whether it’s EDM, techno, deep house, nüdisco, as long as it’s good we will play it. We have a slew of great tracks on here this week, so stop reading and start listening!
Adrian Lux - Damaged (M4SONIC Remix) (Official Video)
Never seen someone play on synced Launchpads before? Pop your cherry with M4SONIC’s remix of “Damaged,” originally by Adrian Lux.
GESAFFELSTEIN - PURSUIT (Official Video)
Leave it to a Frenchman to make a video that’s both cinematic and confusing. Gesaffelstein’s new video, “Pursuit,” repeats two elements: a golden cybertronic glove and the camera panning away from the subject.
Brown and Gammon - The Force
Very cool track that melds elements of French Touch with dubstep, creating something that has funk and grit.
Ghosts In The Machine feat. Pennybirdrabbit (Kill The Noise Remix)
It starts so soft and sweet. But this is Kill the Noise, so ya know what’s gonna happen.
David Jimenez - Preview: 0:00 Cuba Libre // 2:01 Love Consume // 3:31 H1pe
Some new electro house for you to chew on from David Jimenez.
Janet Jackson - Rock With U (Ghosts Of Venice Rework)
A well done rework of Janet Jackson from Ghosts of Venice that removes the vocals and instead focuses on the upbeat instrumental that goes with it.
BeatauCue - Aeropolis EP
BeataCue is back with a new EP. With two original tracks and three remixes of the title track “Aeropolis,” everyone is sure to find something they like here. The original cut of the track "Aeropolis" is a well constructed prog/electo thriller. Of the three remixes, Slick Shoota’s is the best, added a very chill vibe to the EP.
Dogblood - MIDDLE FINGER Pt. 2
More long awaited music from Dogblood, the power combo of two of Boys Noize and Skrillex and one of the hottest acts in electronic music. The title track “Middle Finger pt. 2” exemplifies part of what makes Dogblood so captivating: their ability to move smoothly from one time signature to another, then to another. There are points in these tracks that go from 4/4 to cut-time (dubstep beat) then to a breakbeat. It’s really badass and keeps the crowd moving! Every track on here is good, but “Shred of Die” stands out for being fucking hard. Don’t forget to check out The M Machine remix on here!
Cash Cash - Take Me Home feat. Bebe Rexha (The Chainsmokers Remix)
New upbeat EDM remix from The Chainsmokers.
Crayon feat. KLP - Give You Up (Blende Remix)
Wonderfully smooth and groovy, you have no excuse not to get up and dance to this one. Sonically, this one is amazeballs! All of the tones are so deep and full. We can’t get over it.
Chris Jylkke - Deep Days (May 2013) [Free Download]
Nüdisco mixed tape for ya’ll to get chill to.
Francesco Rossi - Paper Aeroplane (MK Gone With The Wind Remix Soundcloud Edit)
Simply said, this good house music.
