Amidst a booming electronic movement in Nordic region of Europe, Erik Lindestad stands as an industry veteran as a former member of Stockholm-based Wild At Heart. His solo project, The Land Below, has already netted an EP and album last year. Lindestad is back with some even more innovative and successful singles with his sophomore effort, And You Will Be Fine. We Are: The Guard gladly host the premiere of The Land Below’s new album.

Stunning and unique, Lindestad’s trademark sound has put him above the rest in a saturated electronica market in the Nordic circle. Slightly-distorted, the ghostly vocals accompany the synthesizer-heavy instrumentals as listeners are guided on a hypnotic journey to a place that is as dreamy as it is haunting. Each song is a tale of grandeur where the music takes center-stage.  

His sophomore album is filled with tracks loaded with potential and theatrics. "You Are Not" travels along a slow and steady trajectory, yet the final destination lacks the brash and vulgar nature as a typical pop or electronic jam. Rather, it takes an approach of the turtle and the hare, where consistency wins the race, or in this case, the listener’s heart. "Soften The Blow" is a brilliant balance of tranquility and progressiveness, that relaxes and keeps you intrigued with each passing note and inclination.
